Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Wuhan, China, Wuhan Lixin Technology Co., Ltd. is a national-level specialized and innovative “Little Giant” enterprise focusing on the research, development and engineering application of special-purpose robots for confined spaces.
Lixin has developed a proprietary technology system for orthotropic steel bridges centered on U-rib internal welding, integrated U-rib assembly and welding, synchronous internal and external welding, and internal-welding reinforcement for in-service bridges. These technologies enable welding, monitoring, inspection and repair within narrow and enclosed U-rib spaces and support steel bridges throughout their life cycle, from new fabrication to in-service maintenance and strengthening.
For new steel bridges, Lixin provides intelligent welding equipment, automated production lines, U-rib double-sided welding engineering services and industrialized fabrication of orthotropic steel deck panels and bridge components. Its U-rib internal welding and associated fabrication technologies have been applied to more than 200 bridge projects, with cumulative internal weld length approaching 8 million metres.
For in-service steel bridges, Lixin provides integrated services covering defect inspection, condition and fatigue assessment, reinforcement planning, minimally invasive robotic internal welding, construction monitoring and post-reinforcement evaluation. Representative applications include Xiamen Tianyuan Bridge, Junshan Yangtze River Bridge, Xiamen Haicang Bridge and a bridge on the Watang–Rizhao Railway.
Lixin has established a multi-location manufacturing and engineering service network in China. Its Wuhan Shuangliu intelligent steel bridge manufacturing base covers approximately 8,000 m² and supports intelligent welding equipment, steel bridge deck panel and bridge structure fabrication.
The company has built an intellectual-property portfolio covering equipment, processes, inspection and reinforcement technologies, with more than 150 patent applications.
