Service overview

This service is designed for existing buildings, protected buildings, building groups in historic districts and complex urban renewal projects. It provides specialized technical services including building jacking, translation, underpinning, rectification, reinforcement, foundation conversion and structural protection. It is applicable to building relocation, in-situ underpinning, elevation adjustment, settlement rectification, coordination with underground-space development, and engineering scenarios where existing buildings need to be retained and reused during urban renewal.

  • Xiamen Chi Wangye Temple (Hongji Hall) Jacking and Restoration Project

Due to low-lying site conditions, Hongji Hall was jacked and restored. The building has a total area of approximately 192.81 m² and adopts an inserted-beam timber structure. PLC synchronous overall jacking was used to lift the building by 1.05 m to its current elevation.

  • Luoyang Peony Pavilion Viewing Platform Jacking, Rectification and Reinforcement Project

The project has a building area of 1,557.83 m². Foundation sliding caused structural columns to tilt and led to uneven settlement of the upper platform. Local foundation reinforcement, local column reinforcement and local jacking were adopted to restore the structure to its original state.

  • Xiamen Houxi Station Translation and Rotation Project

The project was certified by Guinness World Records. The building was translated and rotated by 90°, with a translated building area of 21,764 m², a total weight of approximately 32,000 tonnes and a maximum translation distance of approximately 340 m.

  • Jade Buddha Temple Mahavira Hall Jacking and Translation Project

The project involved a national key Buddhist temple and a municipal-level heritage building. Overall jacking, translation and reinforcement technologies were adopted. The building was translated by 30.66 m and lifted by 0.88 m.

  • Zhonghai Hengchang Jiuli Heritage Building Jacking and Underpinning Project

The project used in-situ foundation underpinning to develop underground space, involving 8 buildings with a total area of approximately 7,528.7 m², a total lifting load of approximately 13,800 tonnes, a lifting height of 1.68 m and a lowering height of 0.8 m.

  • Zhangyuan Urban Renewal Underground-Space Development Project

This project involved the largest group-type Shikumen building restoration-by-return project in China. It included district-level heritage buildings, 4 building groups and a total area of 10,010 m². Under highly constrained space conditions, the buildings were first translated and rotated to an intermediate position, and then moved back to their original location after underground-space development.

  • Fenghua Meiyuan Translation Project

The project involved a historically protected building with a brick-timber structure and relatively weak structural integrity. The building area was approximately 1,831 m². The building was translated 115.2 m eastward and 61 m northward to its current location.

  • Hopson Binjiang 129 Translation Project

The project involved a retained historic building. The building was translated eastward by a cumulative distance of 139 m, remained at an intermediate location for two years, and was finally translated by 37 m to its current location.
