Company project: Inner Ring Elevated Road facility upgrading and functional improvement project (Phase IV) (Nanpu Bridge–Dong’an Road) bearing replacement. PLC synchronous jacking was adopted under maintained-traffic and night-time construction conditions. A total of 86 spans and 4,322 bearings were replaced, reducing the impact on urban traffic as much as possible.
Company project: Underpinning of P118 and P120 piers of Metro Line 3 during shield tunnel crossing. This project was the first light-rail line underpinning modification project in East China carried out without suspending operation. The P120 and P118 pier underpinning works were completed within maintenance windows, ensuring normal metro operation on the following day and creating the conditions for subsequent shield tunnelling.
Company project: S20 Outer Ring Expressway Taihe Road viaduct repair and maintenance project, K177-K179 bridge jacking and bearing replacement. The project involved a steel-concrete composite girder structure. PLC synchronous jacking was adopted during night-time construction to complete bridge jacking and bearing replacement.
Company project: Shijiazhuang Jianshe Street and Tiyu Street overpass slope-adjustment jacking project. Due to urban renewal requirements, 8 spans were jacked for slope adjustment. Follow-up jacking technology was adopted, with a maximum jacking height of 6.277 m and a total jacking area of 4,292 m². After jacking, the overall bridge gradient was nearly levelled.
Company project: Yixian Avenue overpass jacking modification for the reconstruction and expansion of the Nansha-Zhuhai section of the Guang’ao Expressway. PLC synchronous jacking was adopted. The modification length was 370.54 m and the total jacking area was 5,558.10 m². The works included bearing replacement, pedestal heightening, cap-beam heightening, column-cutting jacking and other processes.
Company project: Lüsi regional water-supply pipeline crossing the Tonglü Canal lifting and modification project. Due to navigation-channel upgrading, the clearance of the existing pipeline no longer met requirements. A new steel truss was built as the river-crossing pipeline structure, with a single span of 82.4 m, a bridge width of 3 m and a structural height of 8 m. A 500-tonne floating crane was used for lifting and installation.
Previous representative project of the core team: Beijing Road Yi River bridge jacking project. The project received the Guinness World Records certification for the “longest bridge jacking length”. The bridge is 1,210.72 m long, with 40 spans in a single carriageway, and both carriageways were lifted integrally by 3.1 m.
Previous representative projects of the core team: Maozhan Expressway jacking modification, Sutong Bridge bearing rehabilitation, Hongpailou Bridge jacking and Shuangnan Bridge jacking. These projects demonstrate the core team’s previous engineering experience in bridge jacking, bearing rehabilitation and bridge modification under complex traffic conditions.
