Tianhao’s slurry separation plant is designed for slurry shield tunneling, piling, dredging, mining and municipal engineering applications. The system supports the separation, dehydration and screening of slurry and excavated materials during construction, helping projects manage slurry circulation, reduce waste volume and improve on-site treatment efficiency.

The system adopts a multi-stage separation concept and can be configured according to project-specific ground conditions, slurry flow requirements, site layout and environmental treatment targets. It is suitable for tunnel projects requiring continuous slurry treatment, stable separation performance and integrated equipment operation.

Technical parameters

  • The system can include multiple separation units for coarse screening, slurry separation, fine-particle dehydration and waste slurry treatment. Tianhao’s project references include slurry separation equipment models such as MTP-300, MTP-650, MTP-1100, MTP-1400, MTP-3000 and MTP-3600, applied in tunnel projects with different TBM diameters, slurry flows and ground conditions.
  • Project reference: Gangneung-Anin Thermal Power Plant Unit 1&2 Project. The project was undertaken by DongAh Geological Engineering Co., Ltd., with TBM supplied by Herrenknecht. The slurry treatment system included two MTP-1400 slurry separation units and three HAZG500/1600-U filter presses. The TBM excavation diameter was 8.42 m, with a tunneling distance of 2,055 m, a maximum tunneling speed of 50 mm/min, a slurry flow of 1,400 m³/h and a feeding flow of 1,300 m³/h.
  • Project reference: Singapore Thomson Metro Line Contract T216 Project. The project was contracted in December 2015 and undertaken by DAEWOO E&C, with TBM supplied by Northern Heavy Industries Group Co., Ltd. (NFM). The slurry treatment system included four MTP-1100 slurry separation units and four HAZG500/1600-U filter presses. The TBM excavation diameter was Ø6.35 m, with a tunneling distance of 5,868 m, a maximum tunneling speed of 55 mm/min, a slurry flow of 1,100 m³/h and a feeding flow of 950 m³/h. The feeding density was 1.08 t/m³ and the slurry density was 1.23 t/m³. The slurry feed and discharge pipe diameter was DN300.
  • Project reference: Wuhan Two Lakes Tunnel Project (East Lake Section). The project was contracted in May 2022 and undertaken by the rail transit company of the infrastructure investment company of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau. The TBM supplier was CREG. Tianhao supplied an MTP-3600 slurry separation system for a slurry shield TBM with an excavation diameter of Ø15.09 m. The tunneling distance was 19.45 km, with a maximum tunneling speed of 30 mm/min, a slurry flow of 3,200 m³/h and a feeding flow of 3,000 m³/h.
